Merry Christmas to you all.

Manfred Speicher and I would like to wish you all  the best for the festive season.
For stocking ideas how about Caress II? She is free to a good home!

Remy Jaffres taking a leisurely sail on Wings last month with a touch of Photoshop for the festive season.
Some of you may recall that Remy owns a Mylar 30 in France which is coming along nicely..

Syndicate Program..

Would you like to own a sqm yacht? If so you would benefit from sharing time and resources to  maintain and race a sqm yacht. We are facilitating a Syndicate Program. With 4 yachts currently available with different requirements to be able to get them out on the water we have a good selection to choose from. These yachts don't come on the market too often. With interest in class growing it is a good opportunity to get involved in a yacht that will inspire some of the best moments you can have on the water.

If you have an interest in joining a Syndicate please email us with your details and I will  contact you with the possibilities based on your interests.

Around the yards..

The lovely 50sqm Plym is at the top of my wish list for Santa.
I have a feeling I have been too naughty and the sleigh would need to be enlarged...
A chance too see her up close is a good early Christmas present.

Here she is getting some varnish work done and some teak decking resealed.

Revisiting Fagel Grip Pt3

Fagel Grip continued..

A mirror finish is achieved and the epoxy used for her restoration is all West System.

A nice 2 pak paint finishes the deck with her original cockpit coamings revarnished leaving her with loads of her original character.

Nothing like a good thick layer of varnish to bring out the best in the timbers.

The beginnings of the cockpit sole

Teak is used to create the new cabin top.

Wow a good case of simple is often best!

Again a lovely simplistic design using the varnished timbers to good effect.

She is relocated to the outdoors for some antifouling and the finishing touches.

The new stern section is finished and ready for bolting to the hull.

Well that's all folks...
The story of Fagel Grip continues in the new year.
